Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre tells the dramatic story of the Battle of Bosworth on 22nd August 1485, which marked a major turning point in English history. Discover more about the Battle of 1485 where Richard III fought for his crown and lost his life, and Henry Tudor became king! With interactive, hands-on displays you can find out more about medieval warfare, how the battle unfolded and the impact of the new and powerful Tudor dynasty. See it brought to life with our re-enactment group, falconry events or explore the landscape with our expert Battlefield guides.

Start the day with a breakfast roll and warm drink* in the Tithe Barn Café followed by a 1 1/4 mile (2km) walk with one of Bosworth's knowledgeable and experienced guides, bringing the events of the Battle of Bosworth to life. This walk is suitable for all ages and welcomes children and families. *Sausage, Bacon or Vegetarian Roll with a cup of tea or filtered coffee. Adult £8.50, concession £8, child £7.

Les Routiers de Rouen invite you to explore their tented encampment in Ambion Arena, to see an array of replica arms and armour from the time of Bosworth as the noble Knights prepare for Battle. Richly dressed ladies from the time of Richard III will also be present and maybe good King Richard will make an appearance himself. Younger visitors can listen to medieval tales bringing the middle ages to life. Entry to this event is included in your admission ticket to our award-winning Exhibition.
