Ingles Hill Wood
A 24ha site planted adjacent to the Ashby bypass in 2002 and 2003/4. Ingles Hill Wood is very visible from the bypass and, with the neighbouring sites at Annwell Wood and Marsh Wood, creates an attractive backdrop to the road. Planting is a mix of broadleaves and conifers and open areas are managed as a hay meadow. Bat boxes have been installed on existing trees and mature willows pollarded by the stream. Parkland trees are included near the farm.
