Potters Meadow

Potters Meadow was an 11.2ha Tender Scheme winner in 2000 for a private landowner near Alrewas.  This wet woodland was planted with willow, birch, alder and some native black poplar.  Wide open spaces adjacent to the River Swarbourne provide cover for mammals, while wetland scrapes provide habitat for dragonflies such as the ruddy darter.  The existing surfaced track allows access for the less able to a viewpoint overlooking the valley.
